Bakersfield Home and Remodel Show

Bakersfield, CA – Vibrate Fitness from South Pasadena, California will be exhibiting vibration plate machines at the Bakersfield Home and Remodel Show June 7-9, 2019 at the Kern County Fair Grounds. With thousands of attendees, this show is the most comprehensive and trusted exposition in the region.

The producers of the show, G&G Productions, spent over 25 years providing the consumer with a unique way to connect with home and lifestyle improvement experts. “At our show, attendees are in charge. Attendees get to choose which exhibitors to interview and then compare their business offerings face-to-face on their terms. By California State Law, all of our exhibitors, requiring licenses, are checked for good standing with the state licensing board. This gives another measure of confidence,” said the show producers.

The show invited a wide variety of experts to answer any need of a homeowner from new windows, roofing, floors, garden, and landscaping, as well as a section devoted to antiques and artisans called the “Old Time Peddler’s Faire.” Folks will find things they did not know they needed for their homes and their lives.

“I noticed that folks coming to Home Shows are looking to not only improve their homes, they are also looking for ways to upgrade their lifestyle,” said Nils Vidstrand of Vibrate Fitness. “We are a good fit for this show. Visiting our booth is a chance for people to experience a new way to exercise that does not take a lot of time and is easy. Vibration plate “jiggling” is not for everyone. This weekend is a chance to try it at least once to find out how standing on a plate feels.”

These vibration plates originated with scientists for the space programs over forty years ago. Astronauts lost muscle tone and bone density in the zero gravity of outer space. Scientists developed a vibration plate that stimulated the contraction and release of muscle fibers, leading to the strengthening of both muscle and bone. Eventually, the invention evolved into expensive commercial machines used by elite athletes and dancers in Europe over twenty years ago. In the last ten years, the vibration machines became smaller, lighter in weight, more suitable for home and office use as they entered the American marketplace.

Vibrate Fitness will showcase four different styles of vibration machines. “I am bringing a variety of machines from small portable to a heavy duty workhorse,” said Vidstrand. “The portable machine is good for RVs or dorm rooms, while the modern one is handsome enough to be in an office or den. The main idea is to use your machine consistently to build strength and stamina. So I recommend that folks put their machine near their television; then they can use it daily for 10-30 minutes and get a workout while watching their favorite shows.”

The Bakersfield Home and Remodel Show starts the summer season with a lot of expert advice, new ideas, and inspiration. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for fun.
